You had a try at a listening paper in exam condition.

Here is a summary of the the advice your were given:

  1. Listen carefuly to the introduction of the questions, it will give you the context.
  2. Each French part will be repeated three times with pauses in between. Make the most of the time. If you are sure of your answer write it down after the first time, if in any doubt wait for the second time. Once you think you have the right answer, write it down and check again when listening for the third time.
  3. If you are asked to contribute three pieces of information, do so. Even if you are not sure of one of the answers, you may take a risk. If you do not answer a question, you will not loose any point. But you will not gain any either! So, within the limits of the number of answers requested, do your best to provide an answer. Do not give more answers than what you have been asked for, as you will loose points for one of the answers will be wrong. Points will be deducted from the total.
  4. At the end you will have time to go over your answers. Make sure you have an answer for all the questions
